While I was an engineer on the Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad in Sandusky, Ohio in the late 1980's and early 90's - these were the engine types we used. They were modified - removal of the water tank, and adding the cow catcher, and tender, etc. Some of the engines still running today are from this era - old Davenports, Baldwins, and Vulcans.
