A very attractive facility...photographed nicely. The architecture seems to have a slight whisper of Cincinnati Union Terminal, both in the arch and the vivid color.

The Angels were playing at Angel Stadium across the tracks, so ARTIC was lit up in red (the team's color). It is illuminated on orange when the Anaheim Ducks hockey team plays across the street. They also light it up for holidays (red, white and blue for Independence Day, green for Saint Patrick's Day, etc.). Most of the time, it has changing colors throughout the evening, earning this station the nickname "Disco Armadillo"! (When viewed from the side, such as on the adjacent 57 Freeway, it does resemble that mammal.)
