In 1989, Spike Lee made a movie called "Do the right thing", and the main song of that movie was an angry number by Public Enemy called "Fight the power". In the official music video for that song, Pennsylvania GG1 locomotive 4879 makes an appearance just seconds into the introduction via newsreel footage, with announcer Ed Herlihy talking about how multitudes of people rode its train and other transportation to the massive civil rights march (called the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom) on August 28, 1963 in Washington, D.C. Your picture is exactly 19 years later to the month...would this have been the same engine?
