Great photo, Roger. I worked some in Springfield (non-rr) in the 1980s just as Chessie was pulling out, and always regretted not being around a few years earlier when scenes like this were common - and all those towers were still manned.

Do we miss those F-units leading some trains or what. Let me shout out hell yea , oh sorry must of been excited to see this great photo on a birthday. Look at the yellow footboards on the GMO unit and the 3 portholes maybe its a F-2 . Nice catch Roger.
