Seems like a waste of 3 good GP-40's. Your right they are starting to look like scrap metal.

Probably the horns were the first parts to go.

When I shot these, someone was in the process of removing the control stand from number 4500 (coupled to the center beam) as the whole floor of the cab was removed and it looked as if the job was left yet unfinished, but well underway.
