AWESOME PHOTO! Ryan..I had to do a double-take to justify this as an authentic photo and not a model layout scene. The stars are real, but those searchlight signals look like plastic models one would put on a train layout. I have an old Model Railroader magazine that has an article that gives tips on how to make model layout signals "shoot" beams of light just like this - using tin foil or cellophane strips and good photography tricks. Plus building a diorama and taking it outdoors to photograph provides the "real" atmosphere look too. Still - I'm not sure: as an old commercial used to ask - "Is it real? Or is it "Memorex"? (or in this case a model?)

A beautiful piece of railroad art. Brilliantly done.

Aren't those signals supposed to be painted light green?!! Well, at least the memory still is there. Thanks for posting this great memory, Ryan. Yes indeed, the WP Lives!

I adore this image. I hope it's a real photo, not mixed together at a computer. Is it possible that the laws oh physics don't always apply on the original WP rails? Well done Ryan. Two thumbs up!
