I also feel a sadness for these old "soldiers" that work their life out in relative obscurity, with hardly a complaint, and then are tossed out in the weeds to rot in an ignoble death. This was a very nice composition, Matthew!!

Nice catch, Matthew! You must've done a lot of digging to find this relic. I was curious about the reporting mark, since it looks like two separate applications. I thought possibly the unit had been transferred from the C&O roster. But I can tell you that 6525 shows as a B&O unit on Chessie's January 1, 1980 locomotive roster.
