What a beauty!

Nowadays, an eastbound wouldn't necessarily have to wait, now that it is twinned between Divide and Lake Louise. Nice photo from before that time.

I was a huge fan of CP most of my life. Loved the gray and maroon. But as a photographer who preferred color film, one could not out do the impact of a reasonably clean Action Red CP unit. It's really too bad the CP gave up on this scheme and decided on the darker red dip jobs of today. I do have ideas on how to improve their current scheme, maybe I'll share them some day.
