Thanks for answering the question about the UP yellow. Saw this coclor in prior photos and wondered about it. Noticed the 2 padeyes welded above the pilot. We carried 220 C-36's to China starting in Nov 1984. Had to weld padeyes fore and aft for extra lashing points on the ships. Can be seen on the left and right side in this photo, about level with the bottom of the coupler. http://www.railpictures.net/photo/441746/

The Leslie 5 chime whistle that graced it's roof is gone. The 98AC to 105AC had either Nathan M5's or Leslie S5D's when new. That old S5D that used to be on the 104A was really a screamer and you could make it change tones 4-5 different ways just by modulating the roof air valve above your head. The 104A was one of the few FP7's from the passenger fleet that had it's original five chime all the way from the 50's to the 70's..

Wow I opened the map to see where in Savanna this was. To my surprise the Walmart now occupies this area, but the ghost of the roundhouse tracks are still visible in the grass. Thanks for the memories, and Tom for the information on the horns.
