Paint brings Milwaukee road to mind. While it seems most Americans associate monorails only with Disney they do exist and are being built new as transit systems in places like Malaysia, India, Japan, Brasil, China, where one there involves patent infringement lawsuit. I think one was started in Turkey. Look up an outfit named The Monorail Society, they have current news.

Thanks for your comment FSWood. I agree with you, not only Disney. There are several monorails in service, specially at the airports like Miami, San Francisco or JFK
