I've thought it would be interesting to hear some of the stories of how folks got to this crew. Surely a person has to want to be on the crew, but how difficult is it to actually receive an offer to join?

Did you ask them to do this , or were you "at-the-right-place-at-the -right-time"? Fantastic pic Ryan and what a book that would be! (Previous comment on how these people got here on this crew.)
