I have enjoyed your many photos from your part of the world to my computer. If most traffic is going through the new tunnel will they still maintain this portion of the lone? Just curious because there is a lot of track to maintain for two trains a week.

There are still Regio Express trains hourly in each direction over the line, and the Gotthard Panorama Express (GPE) on weekends and in summer daily, the "Weekender" from Zürich to Bellinzona and back on weekends in summer plus some trains from the north to Göschenen only on weekends. But yes, maintaining the double track through the mountains is very expensive and we don't know what this will bring in the future.
