Looking at that picture, it seems as if the train crew would have a helluva time telling if the switches were set properly for them.

There are two former passenger cars visible here in a scheme I've never seen before. Looks like a blue carbody with white stripe and black roof. Was this a common paint scheme in the early 80s for Conrail MOW equipment?
