PAs were handsome things. I was less than a year old at that date; I wonder if that was too young to appreciate them. Maybe, but maybe not, after all, I still am interested in railroads half a century later!

Don't feel bad. I was born in 1950 and never saw steam in revenue service. I guess Southern RR had completely dieselized by that time.
