Seeing this train back in 1984 was a real highlight in train watching.

Was the car an actual Daylight Obs. or was it from some other origin and painted in Daylight colors?

Appekunny Mountain was the name of a Great Northern Observation car. The window arrangement looks like the GN observations did.

According to a consist of the Worlds Fair Daylight I found online, "Appekunny Mountain" was in fact an ex-GN observation painted into Daylight colors for this event. The observation was a private car at the time of this train.
