@Steve, the "H" indicates the unit is equipped with Head End Power, or HEP.

Great shot, Kevin. I was in White River Junction on Saturday, July 1, hoping to take some pictures of the northbound Vermonter, and got caught in the massive rainfall that caused all the flooding. Guess I didn't miss anything by leaving early, since the very train I was hoping to see was cancelled.
