Beautiful shot of a bygone era. I grew up next to the NPBL Portsmouth yard and shops. I remember these units arriving in the early 50's. I knew many of the engineers and fireman who would allow me to ride with them in the Portsmouth yard in the early 60's. There will always be a special place in my memory for the NPBL.
