Essential goods?! I think most of the "essential goods" hauled by that train consist of "trash" and "construction/demolition debris." Maybe that was a joke, lol. I think most "essential" goods enter/leave NYC proper in containers via tractor trailer, and begin or end their rail journey (if any) in the northern NJ intermodal terminals at North Bergen, Croxton, Meadows (S. Kearney), "Portside" (Elizabeth) etc.
