It's a shame to see such a nice steam locomotive set outside & exposed to the elements. How long will it last without a roof or fencing to protect it from vandalism? Too bad she wasn't sold to a steam excursion railroad who could keep her alive. I realize that removes a part of the history from her home. But wouldn't the local residents & fans prefer to have her running and somewhere they could go see her, hear her & ride behind her.

Considering I tried to get the locomotive for a while and they were intent on keeping it I'm sure it will be fine. A new roof and fence is in the works. It was protected for the last 20 years or so by a roof and fence and before that it had nothing. It's so well respected that no one really messes with it. It's remarkably complete.
