I like these old engines. That started back in the 50's ? with the Wabash RR running through Jacksonville, IL..
P.S. What is the reason for the plain white flag ???

White flag is to indicate it is running as an extra movement not on the schedule. Are green flags which also have a meaning. Practice goes way, way, back in US railroad history.
