Very odd to see a big freight train like this with only one locomotive and maybe a pusher. Seems like the UP and other railroads will stick two locomotives on a 5 car local.

AMLNGR ideally runs 1 by 1. When it gets to Tucson, they can just change leaders and then proceed down the Nogales Sub. Always an empty auto repo train. If both units were on the head end, the power would have to be flipped to the other end of the train. Hopefully units would be back to back, if not, would have to go into the yard and make them back to back, then return to the train to head south.
