Pretty sure I've never seen a picture of a Rock Island FA or FB in that paint scheme. The coat of paint looks recent. Great pic. Thanks for posting.

The loco was likely repainted when re engined. From looking at satellite map, it appears John was near Truman Rd. and Jackson Ave. for these westbound moves on the KCT.
