Posted by Rich Brown on November 28, 2017  This new station does an excellent job of "up-dating" the overall appearance of the MUCH larger Station that was on this same site from its construction in 1914 to its wanton destruction in 1965. The red brick with stone trim, the 3 arched windows over the marquee entrance and the 3 barrel-vaulted roofs with skylights reflect and evoke the appearance of that earlier New York Central station. A WELL DONE to all involved.
