Oh, if I'd only been old enough to drive back in '68. I lived within a couple of miles of that Naugatuck Valley Line. I almost don't recognize the old girl with that center-mounted headlamp and the low-profile tender. She looked a bit different in her last years on the VALE. Fortunately, she will polish the iron again down in Essex. Suffice it to say she's no longer on display. :)
