Sure is strange to see ES44ACs and an ET44AC leading a coal train. I prefer to catch a 2x1 DPU of AC4400CWs, nice catch though!

@Mitchell, at the other end of the train, there was a GE AC4400CW (No. 7004) and a GE AC4400CW-CTE (No. 5815). In front: Two GE AC45CCTTE (original ES44AC) and a GE ET44AH.

Just curious -- what was this coal train doing in California? Wikipedia says that there aren't any more coal-fired power plants left in the state?

I really do not know, I have no idea. I do not live in the USA, I travel from Chile and I found this nice train.
