Thanks, wondered was left, going through I once looked to see if I could find even traces. Jim Shaughnessy's work and stories are probably my favorite.

Thanks for your comment, Robert! I'm so thankful for all the images Jim captured of railroading in Troy in the 1950s, and I'm also grateful that I've been able to pick his brain in person about what he remembers. If you're looking for other traces, the former B&M roundhouse off Middleburgh Street still stands, and taking a walk along the Uncle Sam Bikeway (the former B&M Troy Branch) often reveals some old ties and spikes strewn along the way. Finally, some angled buildings throughout downtown help illustrate how the tracks navigated through town.
