Earlier HEP-equipped power includes the FM Speed Merchants on NH in 1956, E's and F's for C&NW Bi-Level "Flambeau 400" and "Peninsula 400" in 1958 and additional F's for suburban service in 1959 and 1960, plus others for Chicago suburban service on CB&Q, MILW and RI.
