Just found your photo. I always enjoy seeing a locomotive by the old Central of Georgia Depot in my hometown. As a young boy I would sit close to the deopt and watch the Southern Railway pass by here up to 15 times a day during summer heading south to Rome, Georgia. Along the way the train would stop at the grain elevator about 1/4 mile away, go south to the rug mill in yarn mill in Berryton, the carpet mill in Lyerly, and then on to Rome. Now the tracks are gone south of Lyerly and the State of Georgia leases the right of way to the C & C out of La Fayette, GA (yes correct spelling) which is owned by Genesse & Wyoming.
