It's great to see most of the predecessor's character still can be seen on the St. Maries. When Union Pacific took full operation of the shared track between Tacoma and Black River Jct, UP removed every indication that the Milwaukee ever owned that section of track. Looking to Butte, MT, it looks like part of the old Milwaukee main is used as an industrial lead.
