In 1968 this locomotive operated on the Milwaukee Road in the filming of the movie"Gaily Gaily."I got to run the engine from the Milwaukee Road round house in West Milwaukee Shops and during the filming on the Menominee River bridge east of Milwaukee Depot. Milwaukee Road R&SW Engineer Jerry Knickel ran the locomotive lite from Milwaukee to Freeport,IL. for more filming on the IC at Freeport. I got to ride it again on the R&SW with between Elkhorn and Delavan,WI..If I remember correctly the locomotive was owned by the Cadillac and Lake Cities RR at the time.
