Thanks Brian for sharing this gem. The La Plaine depot was the freight engines depot near Paris while La Chapelle was taking care of locomotives for passenger services.

Interestingly, the 230D on the left is a passenger service engine, fitted with a number board for passenger train identification, while the 2-8-0 is a freight engine.
