What are those two silver posts under the station sign?

These are bells indicating the departure of a train from the neighbouring stations Bernina Lagalb or Alp Grüm. They are wound daily with a crank. In the past such bells existed at all railway stations in Switzerland, today only at very few for nostalgic reasons, like Filisur or Ospizio Bernina.

That are Stationbells one for each direction. When a Train leaves the last station before this one the bell rings. Each Bell has a different sound. Therefore the station personel knows from which direction a train will arrive. As there is an electronic train control system today too, the bells are only informative. Not like the old days when they were a safety system.
