Nice overhead view with good roof-top detail. I remember reading that many railfans hated diesels with such a passion when steam was being phased out that they refused to take photos of the newcomers. I have to admit that I felt the same way when these things took over. At least the GG-1s and E-60s were almost as long as the cars that they were pulling, which seemed to be more aesthetically pleasing, photographically. Although, one has to admit that the AEM-7s served their owners well when pulling short SEPTA or MARC commuter trains, or up to nine Amfleet cars at 125 mph; about 25 mph beyond the passenger GG-1s' normal maximum speed.

Never thought those would look old, y'know, other than the fact they looked dated when they came out, lol. The Budd cars date the scene even further - looks like something someone would model in HO to save funds. Skip the Walthers and Bachmann cars and find some Blue Box Athearn! Nice catch and I'll second Bob on the roof detail since we're talking models.

Ah, yes. Remember "Heritage Fleet" and those wonderful BIG windows. I feel sorry for anyone who has only seen the world go by through Amfleet I "viewing slits."
