It's alive! You can tell since the boiler pressure gauge is at 298PSI. It is historically nice they retained the 1940's air brake. Number 8 Westinghouse I think. I know 90% of what the controls are and know 0% in how to properly use them.

Nice photo. I like the way UP colors steam locomotive valve handles and lever handles red both inside the cab and outside on the locomotive. Lets the operator know what he's supposed to be grabbing on to operate the device.
