Morrison-Knudsen also rebuilt a few ex-SP U25B's into what was called a TE70-4S, which I think stood for Tractive Effort 70,000 pounds, 4 axles, and powered by a Sulzer engine. "Trains" magazine, and I believe also Model Railroader and Railroad Model Craftsman all had photos and maybe even stories about them IINM. One unusual thing about these are all the louvers on the doors; another the forerunner of the wide cab or safety cab. GE built a few BQ23-7 for SCL/Family Lines around 1977.

Always love seeing a new photo of these beasts. They had a certain charm about them, despite their bizarre aesthetic.
