Thanks Mike your photo is really cool and a very likely Modoc magic moment. To bad they got rid of this shortcut. With fuel prices getting really outtasight the railroads probably wish this route still remains. Maybe they should look into electrifying this old route and a alot of other railroad abandoned routes n b smart 2.
