The engine has been moved, based on previous photos. The owner of it lives a short distance away and owns a leasing company which leases out boxcars to companies. From time to time, he has to trundle the engine here down to the interchange with NS to pull one or two of his boxcars up for storage. Previously, the engine was located directly adjacent to the road, and this caused all manner of problems for the owner. (He actually had it parked across from his house). The last time I spoke with him, he had stated that he would consider selling the engine to a museum, but donating it was out of the question. He also noted that he had problems with people trespassing on his railroad property (the tracks, and the engine itself) and had resorted to calling the police numerous times to stop them. I spoke with him recently, after seeing the date on the photo and that he'd moved it, and while I didn't get any specific direct answers; he did now say that thanks to the number of people who had been accessing the locomotive, that he was no longer considering offers from museums, and when he'd sold off his last few boxcars, he intends to scrap the locomotive on the spot.
