Good photo. Memories of when I lived in Asheville 1942-1959. Loved going to the Asheville station and yard
[to the left on photo side.] Murphy branch is to the right of the photo and branches off of the main which
continues north toward Knoxville. Saw many a train crossing the river, as well as some on the Murphy branch going to Canton and the paper mill located there.
