I think your date is off (earlier than indicated) and that this is actually the prior GE to wear that number, a U33C. This unit has no snowplow (C30-7As were all delivered with plows), no anti-climber on the front pilot, and the horn placement of the early C30-7As seemed to be right at the front of the cab hanging over the conductor's side. The nose lettering "as delivered" was also lower on the nose. Love the two main tracks! Obviously Conrail had yet to get welded rail installed on the Boston Line at this point.

Thanks for the correction. I suspect that the negative got misfiled sometime in the past 35 years. The Sunday noon departure of TV-9 was a train I shot quite a bit in the early 80s so I didn't catch the problem when I posted.
