I rode the Amtrak 97 down from Washington DC to Winter Park Florida Oct 19-20 2020 for my first time in first class. I started in Portland Me to DC then switch trains. Back in the late 70's I drove team for a trucking company in Me and drove all over the lower 48 states and riding in the sleeper car through the Carolinas I felt like I was back trucking and slept like a baby! For my first long train ride I enjoy every minute of the ride. The service people were great!
