That simple wooden platform shelter was erected in 1955 after the Naugatuck River floods destroyed Ansonia's early 20th century depot and also the freight station. I am pleasantly surprised that it is still in place and looking good after 65 years... not exactly GCT, but old enough to be a bit of history.
