Mitch - I am always fascinated by your photography and I appreciate your vision and ability to see the shot. I really appreciate the information accompanying this photo, and it's disappointing to read how disrespectful the 'people whose names are congregated onto plaques on the still surviving station." I clicked the Google Maps link associated with this photo, and was also saddened to see this station is now a Greyhound Bus Station. At least it's still got "some" use as a "station" - albeit it now serves busses. The photo on Google Maps at Street View doesn't give the station any justice either, as it looks rather "run-down" and neglected in the Street View photo. I guess those of us who really appreciate and wish to preserve history can't preserve all of it, as much as I wish it could all be saved.
