I had no idea Fairbanks-Morse built coaling towers. I am amazed how good it looks with the coal lift still intact. What a place to see the Pere Marquette, or the NKP 765 staged by.

Having lived near there for a very long time it was instantly recognizable. I've ridden the Amtrak trains through there many times and have had more than a few people ask about that tower. I've ridden my bike to that town for ice cream from Battle Creek a few times.
