I always looked forward to February as one of the RBB&B trains, either the Red or Blue units passed in view of my house, usually going to the next show in Raleigh or Atlanta. There was a third unit, Gold, which played smaller towns such as Fayetteville and traveled by highway. Trains magazine had a feature article some time ago and mentioned the "pie" car where most of the riders ate. Really miss seing it as much as the going of steam and passenger trains.
