Located along U.S 34, Aurora, Nebraska is a very good place to watch slow and fast trains. There is also a railroad "Y" located in the southwest part of the town. When I drove a truck, I used to make deliveries and pick ups at a small industrial type complex mostly for making ethanol. Lots of tank cars on a loop track at the plant While waiting to either to get loaded or unloaded, I would watch the BNSF do their thing on the main line. The train in the photo went by this complex. There are lots of trains to watch all day and night in Aurora, so a railfan would be vwery happy to be there.
