Shows evidence of one of the problems with intermodal. Not enough cranes! Each row of containers needs a row. It’s even worse at inland intermodal sites. Why no container conveyor to move the containers from dock to rail or truck and minimize handling. Container dwell time needs to be minimized. Couldn’t some of the “Just in Time” concepts be utilized. Warehousing is waste.
