This picture makes me homesick in so many ways. Huntington is where I was born and raised, and my late father, Darrell Spurlock, worked DK for many a shift before he was promoted to Dispatcher. Mom worked as a nurse at the "diesel house", as she called it, for a number of occasions and smirked like only a mother can when she has something on you! I also remember driving along Eighth Avenue to find places where I could pull over and get some grab shots of engines, cars, and so forth.
