That 698 would be an EMD product is interesting given 698's Alco style jack pads on side sill as opposed to EMD's which sit below side sill; Alco style handrail post attachment with rail going through flat post perpendicular to side sill as opposed to EMD's steel channel handrail posts parallel to side sill with bolted fitting securing handrail; Alco style Y-posts on its end handrails.
