Rarely would we ever see three steamers under steam at one time. It is even rarer at Steamtown, Vermont. Number 47 the 4-6-4 tank engine in the middle was Nelson Blount’s first live engine on excursion trains. #47 operated over the abandoned Cheshire line. One unusual thing about this steamer was weak springs on one side making the engine lean to the left.
