What are the Two Boxes next to the Signals ?

Got a pretty good load to pull and with a bit of uphill climbing... they are taking care of business out in the mesa of New Mexico. Sept 2, 1946 one year after WW II ended. Thanks for sharing with us George.

My guess as to the boxes on the signal bridge is that it's the signal relay equipment. Notice the cable from the code lines connecting to the top right side of the bridge. I believe the cable normally would connect directly to a mast on a relay box if it were on the ground.
